What is HealthLink Pro?

HealthLink Pro is the first release of a modernised version of HealthLink.
It introduces a refreshed interface, early access to new features, and the first AI-powered service for HealthLink, to help facilitate safe, more accurate referrals through HealthLink’s eReferrals.
Pro keeps everything you use today, but represents the start of an ongoing evolution — with new capabilities planned over the coming months.

How long is the free trial period for?

HealthLink Pro is free for all users from launch until 31 March 2026.

What happens at the end of the trial period? Will I be charged anything?
Cross

No.
There is no automatic charging.
If you wish to continue using HealthLink Pro after the trial period, you can choose to opt in.
If you do not opt in, your current HealthLink service continues unchanged.

Who do I contact for user support queries?
Cross

You can contact the HealthLink Support team through the same email addresses and phone numbers you use today.
Support for HealthLink Pro is included as part of your standard service.

What can I use the HealthLink Pro AI summarisation tool for?

AI Summarisation is a new beta feature that generates a concise clinical summary based on the information you include in your referral.
It helps receiving providers by giving quick context and reducing the need to scan long referral notes.

This is the first step in HealthLink’s AI roadmap, and we welcome you to submit feedback to product@healthlink.net to help refine and improve it.

Is data entered into HealthLink’s AI Summary managed via the same secure processes as usual HealthLink data?

Yes.

AI processing uses a closed-loop, self-hosted model running on AWS infrastructure in Australia.

This means:

  • Data does not leave the region
  • Data is not sent to third-party AI providers
  • Data is not retained beyond what’s required for safe delivery
  • No data is retained. Once your summarisation is complete data is immediately deleted.
  • The model mirrors our Lanas Group’s approach in Ireland and the UK, where our AI services are registered as medical devices

The same security, privacy, and governance standards continue to apply.

What do I need to do to get started with HealthLink Pro?

Nothing.

HealthLink Pro becomes available automatically.
Simply log in as normal and select the Pro option.
Your HealthLink address, setup, and message delivery remain exactly the same.

What are the Spotlight Services I can see in HealthLink Pro?

HealthLink has been active in Australia for over 25 years, supporting thousands of endpoints and services across the network.

Spotlight Services is a new capability designed to surface this breadth more intelligently. It highlights:

  • High-volume services
  • Commonly used referral destinations
  • Regionally relevant services based on where you practice

This is the first step in helping clinicians more easily discover and access services across the HealthLink network.
Over time, Spotlight Services will expand and become more refined as we continue to build out this capability.
